What was my LINK?For my internship I was tasked with completing a wildlife survey for Jennifer on 160 acres of forest plus agriculture land. This survey was for Jennifer and others to use- and build on- to prove to financiers that the land is worthy of conservation. By proving the land is conservation worthy, Jennifer will be able to get a grant to buy and conserve it. As Mark Twain said, “Buy Land, They aren’t making it anymore”, which is what Jennifer realized 40 years ago and has been working towards ever since. This survey I have done will prove that this land is worthy of conservation, helping Jennifer buy it. This land can’t be made again. We need to conserve it for future generations, wildlife, and the balance of our world.

Since I was little I have always had a love for animals and conservation. When I found out about this project, I was very excited to jump in. Conservation Biology is a multidisciplinary field that calls for the study, advocacy, and protection of the world's ecosystems and inhabitants. This project embodies conservation biology because it is the study of the land to get the data to protect it, in the name of advocating for wildlife and wildlands! On this page I will share my project!
