For project Destination Creation we are making creative directional signs for our chosen cities that represents said city. We will be placing them on our campus pointing towards its city. For this project I chose Chicago, as I've always had a fascination with it and wanted to go there. Below you can view my week by week prosses on this project:
Week 4.5
This was very hard. The words took me a long time. I am proud of it though, even though as a perfectionist I am pointing out every little thing that is wrong with it. I worked hard and this is better than my normal painting and that is what counts. With that said I wish I would have done lights on the buildings. Again, I am proud of it.
Week Four
I worded on it trough out the last week. I hope to finish it this week. You can till from the glare but there is stars. Also that sky line(that needs touch ups) is one of the coolest things I have ever painted.
Week Three
My Plan: 01. paint sky line at night 02. paint letters 03. paint flag and a miles
This week what hard because I struggled with the letters and because I have so so busy that finding time proved to be impossible.
Week Two:
Above is my rough draft of what I want my arrow to look like. I spent the majority of this week thinking about it and getting inspiration from Pinterest. I'm definitely not set on this design, and could some inspiration on the numbers, skyline, or really anything.
Week One:
Prosses: It took me a while to decide what city to pick (I did end up going down a rabbit hole with Nassau) but I decided on Chicago because it is a really cool city that I always have wanted to got to.(plus its what got the majority vote when I asked my family) I had a lot of fun making this but really do not know what font I am going to use or what colors. The picture above is all I captured for week one of this project. [I had a really had time getting a good photo of it so I hope you can read it]
